CALAT Sessional Lecturer Conditions: Band 1, Pts 3 to 8
£25.52 to £32.05 per hour (including holiday pay). Starting on Pts 3 or 4 depending on teaching qualifications.
Tutor required to teach accredited BSL courses (Signature Level 1) to adult learners.
You will hold suitable subject qualifications at level 3 or above, have relevant knowledge and skills and previous experience of teaching mixed ability adult groups.
As a condition of employment all applicants should be qualified in their subject with a teaching or training qualification, Level 3 Award in Education & Training / Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) or equivalent as a minimum. Teachers without relevant teacher training qualifications or qualified teacher status (DTLLS or equivalent) will be required to work towards the relevant qualifications.
Starting pay is £25.52 to 26.82 per hour (including holiday pay), depending on teaching qualification and experience. Tutors holding the equivalent to a Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training / Certificate in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) or above, start at £26.82 (including holiday pay) per hour.
